Here’s a bit of fun for the summer holidays: a fun quiz on how well you know your children’s classics. Are you au fait with Anne of Green Gables? Could you wax lyrical about Winnie the Pooh? Are you cognisant of the Cat in the Hat?
By classics, we’re, of course, talking about books that truly stand the test of time. If they are older classics, then they’ll be as well-loved now as they ever were. If they’re a bit more recent – like the Harry Potter or His Dark Materials series – they’ll go on being read by generations to come.
So, while you sit in the garden, laze on the beach, or take a break from work or homework, here’s a great quiz to do together as a family.
Do let us know how you get on. If you found you were stuck on any questions, maybe you could go back and reread the books or even read them for the first time! Feel free to throw back a question or two at us – we promise not to Google the answers! We love a summertime quiz too.
